Voom & I tested them - the credit sale issue is fixed, but they're still transferable. Needs a new fix, sadly.

So what exactly is the status of the wattage aug? all i've heard is rumors and no admin comment as to whats actually happening to it.

Wattage Augmenter

Shield +20%, Energy +10%, Damage +25%, Energy Recharge +10%, Visibility +50%, Range +25%, Electric Tempering -25%

Those are the stats.

The problem was that the Blueprint got changed to T21, and required a lot of expensive items to build. It is being changed back now, thankfully.

Are they actually dropping properly now? It seems that they quit dropping once the T21 bug was discovered.

They always were super rare drop chance from roaming Wattages I think? I've killed about 300 roaming Wattages, and I haven't gotten any, which in my opinion is a good thing that some items can be kept superrare.

Would be nice to know the drop chance for sure tho!

Was my guess aswell, until I realized I could kill about 100 Forgones in 30 minutes and only 5-10 Wattages, if I roamed Perilous.

I really admire the Wattage Augmenter, the idea of making an augmenter based on range and electric tempering that is not bound to any class or ship class is great.

Perhaps a good idea to make a Sniper based aug that is like a Wattage Augmenter but without the visibility? Would be purely awesome and really, really useful.

It's got pretty sweet damage and decent shield bonuses as well. Just a great aug.

They're similar in that respect, but work out quite differently when you put them in setups.
