Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Now for part 2...

I was thinking to buy sounds off of the site http://www.soundrangers.com/ or a similar one. There are a few out there, and the sounds cost a couple dollars each. Is anyone interested in taking a look at that site and nominating sounds for the list we have in the first post?

Maybe if a few of you can nominate a different possibility for each sound effect we need, then I can list it and either choose my favorite or we could vote or something.

Good suggestions. I edited the first post to record them.

I think probably the scanner sound will need to be faded out, and the radiation sound will need to be clipped and faded to be in the 0.5 - 1 second range.

Ambient sound for tractor beam
Squad Invite - alert 04 ascending
Squad Accept - alert 04 descending
Squad Leave
Low shield notification - alert 02 ascending, blip 04
+1 Glory - login melodic 09, login melodic 25
Unpacking sound for turning item-form ship into ship-form or for unpacking a crate or crystal
Sound for when an item is fully charged

Sound effects that need an update:

The camera position change sound effect
big explosion (bigexplode.wav) - multiple bomb explosions 03
laser damage - interstellar gun 03,swarm gun 08
mining damage - brick impact ground 01~

Will edit later when I have more time.

You might could edit the scanner to end with a *beep* so it's like "[Scanning... Scan Complete]"
