Small Content only patch at around 17:00 EST notes which you can discuss here as well. The patch will hopefully help with ship loss issues in instances, by some miracle if it does though.

  • Base speed increased 50 > 68
  • Weapon slots 2 > 3
  • Energy reduced 800% > 750%
  • Shield reduced 800% > 450%
  • Thrust +25%
  • RoF increased -50% > -35%
  • Critical chance +7%


AoG buff to bring into line with other Gunner augs:

  • 10% hull > 13%
  • Range 40% > 35%
  • Speed +15%
  • Weapon Hold +10%
  • Elec Regen removed (+10% > 0%)

I love the devs. My PBF will be going over 200 speed. Without a travel field. Well, depending on whether AoG got a speed beef too.

Holy crap this is awesome.

My AoG, 2 GMast build will be going 223 speed with 2.4k ranged ACAL's and >2k hull.

You'll have less shields, energy and so on though.

Not to mention your resists are non-existant.

Energy doesn't matter when you have -60% elec temp. http://starsonata.info/builds.php?mode=lookup&ID=1506

Note: the calc doesn't have new Aug stats or the PBF stats.

The new missiles require hefty amounts of energy [3k - 12k / missile]. Without augging for regen, you're cutting down on your missiles by a lot.

So, you count on your guns, and have no elec / shield regen, or you aug differently.

The PBF has an inbuilt engine now ~ are you saying that you've two equipped?

Iirc the Pax Engine gives +10% elec regen. Which is the same as the Capital Engine.

And seriously, this beef made my day.

Also, my build won't really be a glass cannon. Usually I DG while using my Cap Travel Field with my dread which can already take a decent amount of shots, so now instead I will have double the shields and elec, the same resists, and 50 more speed than before.

I'm a happy camper. :o

How?

None of your augs add Energy / Elec / Shields / Regen.

A travel field gives -75% to both.

The PBF has been nerfed, loosing 50% energy and 350% shields.

You won't have the same resists, because the PBF has 20% less resists in most damage fields.

GMast and AoG actually help immensely with energy management. They give small amounts of elec regen as well as huge bonuses to elec temp. My Dread runs Ares+, GMast.

My PBF will have 223 speed w/o a travel field.
My Dread has 179 speed with a travel field.

I guess I skimmed over that shield reduction somehow, but I'm okay with that.
My dread with a travel field has ~85k shields.
My PBF will have ~75k shields.

So yeah, I will have aprox the same resists (I think? I forget how the resists get modified), but have 10k shields, as well as have incredible long ranged capabilities and be able to power ACAL's fully.
