Park your main storage in team space and keep your combat ships in Sol. Problem solved.

Can I transfer remotely from a ship with the item to a ship that I'm NOT in (I wouldn't be docked in the same base but the ship with the device and the other ship will be in the same base).
All the same I think this is great. You really don't need this item but it's a huge convenience to have and I don't see how it's game breaking (I'm sure you have limitations on transfers when a base is under attack?). In just an hour you could probably speed pack all of your pesky connectors and the likes which I know for me is a huge pain in the ass to do when you've built connectors or defences on the other side of team space, and ~$1 isn't a lot when you're probably only going to do this once a uni. And don't even consider making this an Emp item. The current Emp system is screwy enough as it is without offering more rewards for it. Im also quite interested in what the other convenience items will be. Please tell me you'll be adding augmenter reset and item-forming-ship items! P.S. it appears you can "gift" space points to others if you purchase with a credit card, so I imagine there'd eventually be people offering to sell space points for credits, though I'd also like an option to transfer them through other methods. _________________ Did you praise the sun today? I think you would just equip the device on your scoutship and circumvent this entire problem, right?

as i said in another reply in this topic. item forming ship and aug reset (currently available manually through ticket) will be moved to spacepoint as well once the system is thoroughly tested.
And yes you can also transfer between ships using that item. It is not only limited to bases. So long as you and your target are connected by HQ connected territory or are in outpost galaxy. _________________ One of the first and proud flight controller. Visit our website: http://www.ef-team.com |

you need the beta client. its the 0 size bug mentioned in the patch notes.
On the loss of gear part. there is essentially no risks since its using the same exact code your using right now everytime you transfer an item from a ship to another. The only difference is that there is an extra scenario enabled (right now it only allow for transfer in the same base), with the item teleporter equiped, it also allow for the other conditions (any distance in team connected galaxy etc). _________________ One of the first and proud flight controller.
