The auto-targeting got patched in with the client patch last night and is now live. The test server is now updated with the credit scooping, and I would really appreciate some feedback on that. (Keep in mind that the test server runs slower than the main server, so things can get a little bit laggy there.) Test server is test.starsonata.com, port 3032.

Seems like it will be helpful for newbs and old DG grinders alike .
Is the scoop limited by your Scoops per second? Or will it just automatically enter your ship? How does it work within a squad? Do they fly towards whoever kills the AI/Player or just towards the nearest member? _________________ Lemon/Meo |

Should be a noticeable boost to credit gains for most players. A lot of credits get left behind due to annoyance at having to target and scoop each credit indiviually. I know that in dgs the only credits i actually try to scoop are the boss credits.

I haven't actually tested it with a squad yet, but in theory, it should fly towards the person who got the kill.

Not to sound critical but almost every MMO on the market right now has something similar to this already. Why did it take so long for SS to implement this? From my viewpoint it seems as if SS is making the same steps that other popular MMO's have already made by having "been there done that".
I really believe it would be beneficial if SS analyzed what other MMO's have done and implement from across the board general changes to the game that would not detract from the theme or environment to improve the overall game experience. |

Bugs i've found so far:
1) Fighter/Missile/Slave kills won't make the credits fly towards you. 2) If you 'evade' the coins they will stop flying towards you(i would guess they only track a certain distance just like thoraxes?) Not tested: squad, unable to test perm drones/bases on test, anything else? |
