Lol, to be fair his idea is something that should've been in the game loooong ago for the added dynamics of missions and more depth/immersion. Missions currently suck and are bland, just a mix of "kill this", "retrieve this" and "explore this system and/or buy x item from a station there" there is very few actual missions that have a good general layout to them, such as spawning waves of AI and/or defending transports and such, star sonata is going to desperately need those kinds of missions, and a lot more of them if it hopes to catch the eye of anyone looking for a space game. Just my two cents as I feel right now, disregarding everything else, the feel of missions is another major factor in keeping people interested, if they remain bland and uninteresting people will leave and on this point alone steam greenlight would lose many players.

Indeed, its something I've noticed about this game: The missions are not very dynamic. Oh, shameless plug. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=59139 _________________ http://www.starsonata.com/suggestions |
