Dear Astro Santa,

It has been a few years since I have written to you, I usually try and write you a poem but this year I want to sing you a song! It goes to the tune of these are a few of my favorite things...so here goes

ehhhmmm, sorry clearing throat
My letter/song starts here

My favorite things

Anni Z lasers on all of my bases
And the rich Christmas pudding tweaks
Bright shiny boss drops
And colonies in weeks
Real easy boss kills
That give big exp
These are a few of my favorite things

Extra SP weekends
With a stable server
FC's with wild slaves
That fire forever
Pirates that when matched take to the wing
These are a few of my favorite things

MC'ing HM's and prawns
or FC's and Droners
The people I have met here
And the guys on my team
MC or trade chat when selling some bling
These are a few of my favorite things

So when I get pawned by a pirate
Or a connector gets mited
I simply remember my favorite things
And little by little my heavy heart sings
Yes these are a few of my favorite things

Merry Christmas to the SS community

In the spirit of my last contest entry which was mistaken for a potato and for some reason not considered good enough to count as an entry, here's my half-assed entry for this contest.

Dear Astro Santa,

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
This doesn't rhyme,
Hand over the presents.

Dear Astro-Santa,

There is not much I ask for Christmas this year. I write this sitting in the dementium-reinforced chair on the bridge of my magnificent ship, a Zeus Throne with custom skin. No, I am quite content with how things are for me. However, it is the f2ps for which I write this letter. Having been one for several years, I know of the troubles that can befall them when patrolling Warp 3 Space in the Earthforce layer (the Icepicks can be unforgiving). I simply ask that you give them an edge to combat the harsh realities of space. Whether it be a brand new heat-beam, or a resilient shield, or even something as simple as a faster engine, my heart would be warmed seeing their ships not in the yellow stasis of defeat.

Best of wishes!
-Galzant

Dear Astro Santa,

Last year I tried to kill you and take all your stuff, but I'm really regretting that now and am very sorry. I want to make it up to you and spread the holiday cheer, so I've irradiated a space elf and I'll wear it for the whole of Christmas!

So I can have presents now, right? - Salt Assault

Today I was Christmas shopping, and it was... unpleasant. So I've decided I'll write my own letter to vent (not that I'd select it to win, that'd just be unfair).

Quote:
Dear Astro-Santa.

When I was a child, I was always thought well of your job, however, as I've grown up it seems you've been slacking off, presents are no longer appearing out of nowhere, and I instead have to leave my humble abode to venture into the fearful public to do this torturous task of 'Christmas shopping'.

Why must I embark on this? Why has this atrocious gift giving thing become popular? It's so hard. It'd be much easier if I could just give people money, but for some queer reason society often frowns upon such actions. The shops are lined with gimmick items which serve no purpose or use other than frittering money away or dressing up for the occasion, which is only acceptable for only a few weeks of the year, rendering the item useless for the rest (yes, I'm talking to you, Christmas themed sweaters).

Furthermore, people litter the streets, trying to sell me 'Big Issues' constantly and pushing pieces of paper about 'God' and Christmas about them. I'm not sure who this 'God' chap is, but he sounds like a naysayer and a charlatan in the eyes of the great adum? I understand you're busy this time of year, but I suggest stuffing his stoking with coal, as he's clearly been a bad boy.

Please Astro-Santa, return to work so that I and everyone else don't have to participate in this obscenity again.

Yours faithfully, Blue Dwarf.

Lapland, there should be a mission there, but I'll double check and if not add it.

The holoprojector isn't available yet as it needs a client patch.

I have the mission in my list of missions but can't see it at the base :P
Also, can I please get the holoprojector on Skirmish account? :3

It's on my longish todo list of general things; been slightly delayed as I broke my computer recently and pretty much had to nuke my hard drive. XD
