Mechanic is fine now. Imo defenders bases should also still be allowed to be tractored. |

Even with Spirit augs. As for the fucking gear, it carries over every uni so it doesn't count as an ongoing cost. Any more than that and it requires BvB of MORE kits than they have laid for defense. The point of defending a galaxy well is deterring an attacker from even bothering to BvB. We have to lay a well defended outpost, and then BvB. It's already 2 gals investment to kill 1 galaxy. Yes, it doesn't take 300b to defend per gal. I meant attacker hard cap at ~30 kits with ~300b being required cost to turtle against those said ~30 attacker kits. |

No. There cannot be a hard cap on attacking bases as long as there is no hard cap on defender bases. |

There is hard cap for defender bases. Planet slots plus whatever hard cap for unattached kits is. |

Unattached limit for defending unattached bases was removed after we complained about it |

Exactly how we'd identify "defending kits" is another matter. Perhaps highest tech level, station mastery, or some other factor. I think the exact mechanism can come later; what's more important is to discourage the current trend towards huge numbers of bases (read: boring, tedious, stupid). Defending 1 galaxy shouldn't require 2-3 accounts of just STM kits |

The real question is, will a new player be able to get 100 slots so easily? And will a new player be willing to make multiple characters to accomplish that feat? Seems like alot of work just to make one galaxy that can actually compete as a new player. As it stands, the system does not work well with casual play, you have to put in dozens of hours in order to get to a point where you can compete with the endgame in terms of Galaxy protection. - Chrono |

Or is it the lazy endgamers who put trash augs and gear on their "endgame" kits and expect it to live against other real endgame teams. A new player isn't supposed to be competing with the endgame. New players aren't the ones losing their 15 ada kit gals. New players don't even know what an ada kit is. New players are the "omg stop bullying me what about the new players" excuse. |

My apologies. None of those galaxies have been successfully BvB'd either. |

Can we also get proper aggro on hps characters? Because this is a bit ridiculous them shm's deserve to die. https://youtu.be/AEOE7Ca-SE0?t=16m17s |

This video is a good example of how hard it is to PvB a real galaxy. If aggro had worked properly they would have failed at the start. |
