Don't you mean colonies will be ticking only 33% faster? A 50% colony tick increase would mean that it ticks once every 60 minutes... Unless I'm missing something...

Maybe they meant instead of 12 tecks a day (every 2 hours), it's now 18 ticks a day.

Poorly worded.

A 33% reduction in "time to tick" results in colonies ticking 50% more often. I probably could have made that more clear in the original post. Sorry if that confused anyone!
