Default maximum squad size for an instance is 10. The number can now be increased to something like one hundred.

Going back and updating all the old stuff based on new legislative doesn't seem very important.

That functionality isn't even live yet, lol.

Also instancing is poop.

You only think that because Star Sonata is a small, declining game. Before you were a developer, there were player enforced queues for getting Tech 20 skills.

Obviously Jeff did not like that, because under his watch all the custom dungeons got instanced. We can go back to those times, except now it's going to be Tech 22 ships blockading Tech 20 dungeons.

Which is only possible because there are no meaningful PvP ranges. Level means nothing.

From what Jeff said in the previous years, he likes the "Blend" so to speak of how the game flows from one tech level to another and how there is no hard stops between them.

Which is why I say, just remove PVP ranges entirely. Let level 50's attack level 3000's and get crushed. Let level 3000's "grief" level 50's. It's already in the game. <Anatolia Palace>.

Push the concept that people need to group up and not overextend. This is an MMORPG. Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. This is not a single player game and guilds here should not be based on the idea of single players. Yet, people do it anyways, get crushed by an actual Multiplayer team, and bitch on the forums and or ragequit. I can probably count the number of merges in the last five years on my left hand. The only large teams that manage to shrug off total defeat are ancient bastards whose names have been around for years upon years.

Instancing is crap, it break the persistence of the universe by making isolated pockets all around the place. Unfortunately while i do hate instancing, it is necessary for some content to ensure everyone has fair access.

Instancing bosses was not really a decision pushed or made by Jeff, it was made by the dev team as a whole after months if not years of discussions.

It was still under his watch.

Did Jeff willing gave ownership of the company to another person?
No.

Did Jeff appoint a manager in his place (a councilor in SS terms)?
No.

Did Jeff go on hiatus until all the instancing was done?
No.

Does Jeff have the final, legal say?
Yep.
