So is 4 mods the cap? Can this please be looked into. We should all have a chance to get god tier rolls on gear. Not just the people that have bindo bugged gear.

Mods on items have a huge impact on setups, you could have two characters with exactly the same gear but different mods and one of the characters could be twice as strong as the other. Which is fine, adds more customization to the game. But whats not fine is that its nearly impossible to get god tier rolls on gear. God tier being 6 or so mods on stuff. Either increase the chance of getting multiple mods by a lot or the whole random mod system needs to be looked into.

Im all for item sinks but everyone should have a equal chance of getting the mods they want on gear, which is why i liked my mod crystal idea better then the bindomite thing we have in place right now.

Basically to get one mod on a item you would need the 10 of the same items and 10 of the same crystals for that one mod, two mods would cost you 20 items and 20 crystals. So you get that perfectly modded wep after sinking in a ridiculous amount of items into it. You still get a great item sink but now everyone has the same equal chance of having the best gear.

From one 'roll', yeah, but if you get a 3 or 4 modded item, you can neurobind it and get 7 or 8 mods on it in total.

Oh I see. Well can the chance of gear that drops from ais be significantly increased. Like to the point where it's almost guaranteed to get 2mods on dropped gear.

Have there been anything else patched? Like bug fixes, visual improvements, ...?

The only other change was a fix to one of the new repeatable missions which could be abused for XP. I already have a list of everyone who gained XP from it.

I hope you also have a list of the people who immediately reported it lol.

Don't worry, you're safe, just levels will be removed.

Can we get some temp bans handed out along with a list of who did it? Would probably do wonders to repair the playerbase's view that devmins don't ever punish anyone for anything.

No one particularly abused it, a couple of people gained 10 or 30 levels (which is only doing the mission once or three times). One guy gained 70 levels (but again, that's only doing the mission 7 times). The one who done it the most is the one who reported it, heh.

I also ask we tread this conversation carefully, cause you know, not discussing bans in public chats rule. :)

Well that would increase the chance of players being able to roll for god tier gear, which is what we all want.

Item modding, I don't see a reason to cap it at 3-4 mods. Even if its just the tiniest probability to roll 9+ mods, it should still be possible. We're a loot based MMORPG, give us the chance for epic loot. Seeing as how much we beat our faces into the grind of SS, eventually someone should be rewarded.

Might even be cool to implement a global shout of some sort in All if someone managed to get 5+ mods. (or more, depending on the % chance to get that many)

I love global competitions.

I'm the one that did it the most, because I wanted tons of the rewards so I'd never have to worry about them. Didn't have sound on, and didn't realize I was gaining levels until I was like ~3400, then did it a few times to make sure I wasn't tripping.
