Sounds like a solid plan. I've been advocating this for years, good to see something finally being done about it.
Classes don't feel like classes until level 20 skills, and that's bad game design. Keep it up. _________________ Lemon/Meo |

At the moment yes, doesn't look like it will change. _________________ http://www.starsonata.com/suggestions |

This is still in the design phase, but when it eventually goes live, we'll probably just have everyone get a class reset when they log in. They would then be able to immediately train back their class because class skills are becoming free and trainable anywhere. The only annoyance would be having to go pick up the new Zen skills.

I'm glad this is finally being done, however this seems to be overly complicated for no reason. Good luck explaining all of this to a new player.

The current skill system is also complicated lol, we just understand it because we've been playing for so long. In game, having a proper GUI for it should make it immediately understandable what's going on. _________________ http://www.starsonata.com/suggestions |

So the new zen skills are replacing the old zen skills (zofr, zen of calmness etc)?

The existing zen skills aren't being touched. _________________ ~DarkSteel / Auxilium Universe Map: http://www.starsonata.com/map/ |

Awesome. Make Fighter Swarm FC cheap and viable, then I'll be on board.
