Post Base Extractors
Base extractors have been changed next universe to only allow one type of stack to be equipped at one time. This copies the existing system that's used within the Junkyard extractors limitations.

Here's the changes to the power levels roughly to account for only being able to stack one type of extractor at a time.

These power levels can be subject to change like anything in Star Sonata. :P

Because adv are the same as normal, the average player will be shafted by this.
Edit : are the suggested what will actually go in?

How do you mean? We are making all Advanced-type extractors work twice as fast. Equipping 1 Adv. Metal Drill in the new system will have the same behavior as equipping both 1 Metal Drill and 1 Adv. Metal Drill in the current system.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Buzz panicked and thought that you were just making it so: 1 Metal Drill = 1 Adv. Drill = 1 Undead Miner = 1 Kikale and limit the base to only one kind of Drill at a time.

In game is what is currently in game, as far as Markoz knows because he's a filthy colony whore like me and not an Extraction Experter. The suggested is what he wants to make them sit.

That table represents the current power level of extraction that has been decided.
0.5 = 50% = junk
1.0 = 100% = normal
2.0 = 200% = Adv
etc etc...

Essentially how much does it extract per tick. Each commod has its own extraction rate for example metals extract much quicker than nuclear waste, extractors are how efficient they're at extraction. Hope that makes more sense.

Here is some non-ExE character tool-tips of some of the new extractors. The extract daily amounts will be available after patch thanks to SI!

When you say one type, do you mean you can only, for example, equip a stack of Metal Drills or a stack of Adv Metal Drills? Or is it that you can only equip metal drills, or baobab harvesters, or space oat harvesters at one time?

If the planet has 60 Metals slots, you an have no more than 60 Metals Extractor items equipped. It can be any combination of the various kinds of Metals extractors (or at least that's how it's supposed to work). I'm going to double check that it's working like this.
