Post Re: Dev Blog – New Modification System in Progress
I want to know the mod concepts. Don't care if they make it or don't make it into the final draft, but I want to know what are the devs conceptualizing.

The next phase of the project will involve the release of the mod concept list.

Overclocked is being removed, but chargers aren't core gear; no more overclocked chargers.

While we are touching mods, is it possible to remove +vis from radioactive? There's nothing more frustrating than NBing item that is already modded and being forced to throw the item in thrash can because you're a stealthy class.

Good point. We will think about how to handle that.

@Blizz: We will consider that. We haven't decided what Radioactive will be changed to yet.

Will it still be possible to achieve 100% Crit percentage? Without SI I can see this being difficult if not impossible to achieve even for classes like seer.

Two questions. What is happening to non bindoed modded gear (IE drops) and will dropped gear continue to have random mods on it?

The current plan is for dropped gear to only pull from the new Secondary pool. You won't get any drops with the new Primary modifications. Someone recently came up with the idea of creating specific drop-only Secondaries, but it's currently not being pursued actively.
