Which solution to low level uber bases?
Alternative Minimum Level for bases 23%  23%  [ 18 ]

And honestly, why did you guys (admins) take away the mark enemy/team away? All you have to do is make the bases agro with that person in your galaxy and you get the same effect.

The snowball was the only thing wrong with the old pvp system really problem was that you could be snowballed while you were asleep I dont see how you can avoid it.

Main things wrong with old sytem were

(1) Automatically marking team enemy, with slaves and non permant drones

(2) Being able to mark people out of your pvp range.

And various other marking, unmarking things. Like Nuro said not being able to mark people personal friend of the entire team was a pain.

Also not being able to unstatis other peoples slaves as see as a bad thing too.

srry to say this but I don't like any of the ideas.

if you want to destroy some1's bases that bad you can make an alt yourself which you can use lateron anyway, if you don't want to bother making an alt then the other person just wanted to do more for it so he/she deserves keeping the base.

you could make an option "make owned galaxies buildable" - that way you would have to have 10 bases to completely secure a gal which can't be done with lower levels. (4 bases at your base deployment level)

a problem to this would be that low level f2p ppl would build in your galaxy. perhaps make it buildable within the same PvP range only so you can always blow them out if they're unwanted.

You try making a lvl 150 that can take out an achilles base... It simply won't happen... As it is now, there are plenty of lvl 300 and lower chars with achilles bases... You can actually even have lvl 100 or lower achilles if you spend a bit more time on levelling using lower tech gear...

if you want to destroy this base so badly make an alt of the same kind, a level 150 can't build 10 achilles bases, only 4 so you can just make your own alt for it and build your own achilles bases in the galaxy to destroy his, if you don't wanna go through the trouble which the person owning the achilles bases HAS gone through then you don't deserve to kill them.

make it so tec 9 bases are lvl 50+

my level 15 noob is consantly being attacked by lvl 20 adonis bases which are being healed by tec 16/18 bases.

this is fucked up

A level 150 base alt can take an achilles base...

here is my 12.712 cents about this 'problem'. THIS ISNT A PROBLEM AT ALL. If the player has SM 20, than they should be able to use it, they obviously spent money and time to get the SP to get SM 20 on a low level alt, That means that they most likely can equip everything with another character wich is totally fair, most players can equip all the gear on a tech 9-12 base before level 100 so the adonis = level 100 is bullshit. Some alternate formula wouldnt work either, people can BS the system as it is and this is just asking for more shit to happen. The only solution is to let it be, BECAUSE players at the same level as the tech 20 base builder can also get a tech 20 ship and weapons and energy for it and have a high level monkey alt shield trans and the player can kill it if they just took time to get the skill.

right now i have a level 50 alt that has MF 3 that if i got his EE and Weaponry up i could sure kill some cool shit easily if i had someone else heal me.

What your proposing means that you have to make some sort of limit for EVERY skill in level, MF 5 requires level 600, Sniper 20 requires level 600, SM 20 requires level 600, DD 20 requires level 600, Merchant 20 requires level 600 ect.....

That would just be broken alltogether. If you can get the skill with your level, than you should be able to use it if you have it, no level restrictions.

just bring the old PVP rules from 3 unis ago. damn tobal for making it change.

i would really love it and i suppose other people would too, if they put ot back as it was. from when it changed, SS made a whole changed from my point of view, its just not the same...
