It is obvious that it's not realistic radar. Because the speeds are not realistic(700 speed is like 700x the speed of light), radar should not be able to see ships going any speed!

Therefore, it's fucked.

Does it really work? I see no ships or suns or planets or moons on my base RADARs. I can look out the windows and see all of the above but nada on the RADAR scope when docked. And at times even the planet that the base is on disappears from the windows.

I see what you mean yes. I have this bug as well when docked in my stations. sometimes not only AI or players but entire planets/suns or even wormholes disappear until i undock.

I don't think it's a radar bug. If it were, objects would be replaced by their generic placeholders, instead of just disappearing. Anyway, I know at least one dev is already aware of this issue.

i am indeed aware of the issue, although its only a graphical bug, and its a bit lower on my priority list (its kinda important, but at the same time, only affect you if your either docked for a long time, or log in docked).

yeah I can't see ai while docked at my user base, but when I undock I can see it fine. Also, silly! nothing can travel faster than light
