Bases's mag cannons are way outa proportion when they fly into space, see image below....

Its not "out of proportion" the base was firing at something that was on a different plane (AI was on top of a sun while base was on the 0 z axis) and the mag cannon tracking made it shoot at a slope. So when it got to you it made it seem like the mag was super close to your camera. Not that hard to understand... He is saying the mag got angled by aiming at a target sitting on a sun or other body which forced it up the Z axis. IT then simply continued on that upward path when the target died and so got closer and closer to the level the camera is on.

Paxx is wrong, it happens all the time. It generally happens when there are still mags flying towards the target but the target is already dead. Mags will become extremely large.

they are actually drifting up the Z plane once the target is exterminated. perhaps the mags are following the AI's soul up to heaven!

I think it's more likely that the AI was initially on a sun, but moved off and retained its altitude because of the buggy altitude code. |
