My FPS is around 40 if I bring an unteamed alt into my gal, but it drops to 12 as soon as I go on a teamed character.

Maybe due to floaties? Though blue dwarf said he decreasing rendering on those to prevent such drops in fps

A teammate is also experiencing this.

Experience it by going through my team's heavy prod gals. Unteamed alt has no problem.

I tried with a teamed character that has no ships docked in the gal and FPS improved a bit (16 vs 12). Not sure why.

I never said anything like that. I'm not a programmer, I'm a content dev. I can't do that at all.

The FPS drop does seem weird though, not sure what to make of it.
