Yeah, the floaties seem to break and show the wrong direction when the distance is more than 50 000 or close to that. I have confirmed this and added it to our bug tracker!

The little direction indicator for targetted ships/planets (etc.) breaks and points in the wrong direction if the player is too far away. |
