Had a quick look through the topic names and this doesn't seem to be something that anyone else has posted about, but it's not strictly a "bug" as such.
My Social window was down at the bottom of the screen so that only the topmost millimetre or so of the window was visible. I couldn't grab it with the cursor to bring it up. Tried changing resolution to coax it out, but to no avail. Reinstalled the client, obviously I can access the social window now. Not sure how this happened (I suspect my little brother perhaps dragged it down there), but like I said it's not strictly a bug, so I'm not sure if anything can be done about it, but reinstalling the client is a pain, especially when patches have to be redownloaded. |

The SS client writes a file called dialogs.xml in the "<SS2>/config" folder which saves the locations of all of your dialog boxes upon exiting the game. Deleting this file restores them all to the default location, just be sure to delete it while the client is closed otherwise it will re-write the file with the data you don't want when you close the client.
This also applies to stuck maps, inventory, et al. _________________ Pies are yummy. |

I have the problem that when i open the client, none of the windows that i have up when i close the client stay up. every time i have to reopen the gal map, 2x it, then open the ship inventory. they are in the correct position where i left them, but its still annoying. it should open just like it was closed. -ERMAN _________________ "I reject your reality, and substitute my own."
