Post Unable to Bind an Accessory Button on Mouse to a Command
I attempted to change the Autopilot command to either of the buttons on the side of my mouse, and neither would register. I did make sure to double click the command line in the Keys setting, not just a single click, so that rules out at least a little bit of stupidity on my part :P

I know the buttons work as I use them in my browser.

It looks like Irrlicht (3d render engine we've built client 2 on) doesn't support mouse buttons other than the normal three.

I guess you could hack it in by remapping the button to some keyboard key using a third party application.

I looked more into Irrlicht's API and it does actually support extra mouse buttons, but we don't use them currently, but I'll ask about it.
