Right now there's a huge mob waiting for the volcom mission plans. The pillbox spawns every 5 or so minutes and drops one plan each time. So, only one person can actually go any further every five minutes or so and new players are constantly entering.

However, there's nothing to even do to pass the time - there's not enough AI for this many people to kill to have fun while they wait - you're lucky if you can get to 1 or 2. There's no point to exploring elsewhere because you'll miss your 1 in 10 chance of actually getting to move on in the game.

I know typically there's not many people in this preliminary stage, but if we want to have a large player base, its possible that we can have extremely long waits here - long enough waits that new players who are not already invested in moving on like me would seriously be unlikely to care enough to sit here for 30-45 minutes not being able to do anything.

There really needs to be a fix to this - perhaps eliminate the need to scope the mission item and just require the kill - this is too long to wait for such an early step.

Ok, I've taken care of this. The immediate fixes are to a) decrease the spawn timer and b) add another drone into the galaxy so there is more than one location for players to kill it.

Sorry about any downtime this oversight may have caused.

awesome - thanks! this really seemed like something that could deter players who knew nothing about the rest of the game.

No problem, thanks a lot for the feedback. I really appreciate it!
