Many special galaxys are bugged so that when trying to dock at the ai base there it displays the "must be closer to dock" message. This can sometimes be caused by another player having a dead ship in the galaxy, such as ruby steppes, however, I have personally been to galaxies in deep w3 where there could not possibly be other players because w3 almost unobtainable. Galaxies I've tested thus far are: Ruby steppes when a player ship is stasised Labyrinth Lunacy Bipolar Iq' Bana I'd be very supprised if nearly every recurring galaxy wasn't bugged in such a fashion. |
