I wasn't sure that the "Bugs" Branch on the Board Index was the right place to post this, so hopefully no one gets mad at me for posting this twice. The SS2 Bug reports branch seemed more appropriate. - Paxx --------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, let me start out by stating that I love the changes so far. Jey’s patches are awesome as far as the AI base interface/ bugs that came with the SS2 release. As far as this new bug goes, I have duplicated it about 10 times now, after logging off, shutting down my computer, etc. I have noticed a significant decrease in elec regen (as a sniper) with a lincin, I have tried it with other weapons as well, but lincin seems to be the most prominent. Test 1 with HGG, no analysis no fuel proceeds as follows: Attachment: T5JPEG.JPG As you can see, The elec line says +/- 63 elec regen, which in my case means negative regen, because I saw a drastic drop in shooting time. In SS1 I was getting about 1.5k/s regen while shooting, and HGG would not break my regen even at 100% analysis even without fuel. Test 2: normal elec Regeneration without fuel: Attachment: T2JPEG.JPG Showing +837/s regen. Test 3: Regeneration while shooting Lincin at 0% analysis without fuel: Attachment: T1JPEG.JPG As you can see, there is something very wrong. Between each test, I logged off shutdown my computer, and restarted the game. I even tried it with fuel, and there was no change. I tried it at full analysis, and all I get are increased levels of negative elec regen. With analysis while shooting a lincin it would say +/- 9203 somthing. Which drain my elec to 0 in about 4 seconds, while shooting. Likewise, the elec rege and/or Elec Tempering on my Beserker have diminished, I cannot power things.T

There's clearly a bug related to the new weapon-charging code. My guess is that you're using a few times as much energy as you should be, due to some redundancy. I don't know your setup but I readily believe that you should power HGG with no fuel, at least at zero SA.
Since HGG apparently costs you 900 elec/sec at this time, I would guess that you're using about 3x the normal elec; that works out to 1.67 shots per second, which seems roughly accurate by the picture. _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer.
