Looks like AI got a large beef to at least damage from the last patch. Please look into it.
Update: I'm sure no one cares, but this game is unplayable now. Caly is already a pain in the ass, but goes from 9k a shot to 96k a shot. Last edited by snowfireluv on Fri Dec 09, 2011 8:03 am, edited 2 times in total. |

Ditto.
I was in Underworld and the physical weapons they used kept pushing back behind the Lagrange wormhole, everytime I gained headway on them they pushed me back. For reference I was in a Pax with a max speed of 53 with a Dime Motion, in pre patch I still would had problems but I would've made it to the wormhole within about 2 min. _________________ -Justin Bieber "I was sent from the gods!" -Red Hot Chili Peppers "We didn't send anyone" |

They did when the Double Firing bug was not fixed. A double whammy of Emp's Laser, and Zeus Thunder is fun. One shotted my FC's Dread. 300k shields and 60-70%..ish resists.

I did several DGs on my SD earlier and didn't notice any difference. Granted, I wasn't taking so many hits but if there was a change it must have been subtle for me to notice nothing.
I also did a Bana run and a few Delquads with ShM+Zerk just now and saw no difference in AI DPS. _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer. AI Damage was increased, and Rate of Fire was decreased.
The change was already active in C1, and for whatever reason was deactivated for C2 (thus Emperor Shaddam Kilrathi IV spamming his laser, among other noticeable differences). |

christ thanks for telling us now.... where was that mentioned in a changelog?
put it back to the c1 way please, this extra rof is upping the crits to a level where its impossible to move in prince/knight in a wattage, amongst other things... |

Buzz...
It is the way it was in C1. With C2, rate of fire was accidentally increased for some AI, with damage being suitably decreased. It was not mentioned in the changelog because it was a bug! _________________ Hi, I'm Anil, a long-time player turned developer. Yes, Sprockets complaining about the extra damage is because this was changed back to how it was in C1! The numbers are bigger and shinier, but they also are firing less often so it balances out.
Sorry my first post wasn't clear, they were two separate thoughts that I didn't really go over before submitting. =P |
