I have the issue that if I try to mc the windows stop responding and have nothing in them.
The confirmation screen when transfering credits is buggy as well. It locked up when someone asked me to squad while i was trying to trans cash. That and the "toss some overboard" screen, fills the whole screen and nothing else can be done till that is sorted and dealt with. The only thing that seems to work with these is to restart the game. _________________ Don't join dangerous cults: Practice safe sects. |

try this.... maybe it's same problem
check your monitor resolution in (for me with win7) control panel >> peronsalization >> display setttings >> ***whatever your resolution is the INGAME resolution MUST BE LOWER than your comp's set resolution if you want to open up another client. start up ss and then maximize screen. ((but sometimes it crashes inexplicably regardless and freezes especially in oly. yesterday i had an interesting thing where one client froze, opened another to relog it and then the other froze, happened repeatedly. had to close both, then open two at same time to get them both not to crash... so idk in that case.)) |

Yep, did all that. Still got an issue with it. it is windows 7, screen resolution set at 1650/1080, game resolution set at 1600/900, and it happens when I use multiple windows, not just with another client.
For example, happened twice as I type here in explorer and switch back to check settings on the only client I have open at the moment. _________________ Don't join dangerous cults: Practice safe sects. |

Is anyone managing to mc atm? What's different in your set up? I notice Klangers on team regularly with 3 clients yet I can't run 2. And our set ups are the same I think.

For what it's worth, I was able to run 2 clients in lion/emp last night with just one crash. I kept the windows side-by-side with no overlap. I'm on XP.

i get this invisible screen of death when mcing now, if you open a browser on top of one of them for example, when u minimise the browser u just get an empty black client, or u can see the last window inside it.
the only way i can stop it happening is absolutely ensure you dont minimise one of the SS windows or open anything on top of it. If i didnt have 2 monitors i'd be screwed |
