When you die your ship spins around, both when you go blue and when you go yellow. A lot of the time it is not facing in the correct direction until you get back into your ship and it rectifies itself.

Ships spinning like this make it hard to know, when you get back, which way you're going to be pointing and this can ruin the crucial few seconds of getting back into your ship and escaping an ai for example. Found myself many a time headed back towards the ai because my ship looked like it was pointing in the opposite direction.
