I'm trying to attack a Sahvitra Rahnti that's been poking me in Devalaya Dvarata using RTS and my slaves just move to and guard it.

This is pretty annoying, I had to disable 'attack my target' to harvest DNA because my slaves saw the dna extraction beam as a hostile act and blew up anything I was trying to harvest so... I can't defend myself and harvest DNA at the same time.

i think you need to shoot it or Tractor it to make slave RTS attack but yea its still annoying

RTS attack is select slaves (drag using mouse or shift click squad bar) -> right click target. Normal behaviour when doing this is shooting the AI you've just righ-clicked - this time they're guarding a hostile AI.

Shooting or tractoring is 'attack my target' mode.
