So there seems to be some inconsistency with the Caracara's magcannon. Sometimes it's ethereal and sometimes it's not, and this makes it annoying to kill. There were some instances where it wouldn't go through a sun, and some where a character on top of a sun would get hit with one anyway.
If it is bugged I would say make it ethereal anyway, we managed to kill it with it hitting us and it was probably the most fun we've had in years. Edit: so it's been brought to my attention that this may be due to wonky sun&projectile mechanics. In this case it's sort of pointless for a Harrier and Caracara's weakness to be a non-ethereal weapon if you can hit on/through a sun anyway. _________________ |

Hello This is not related to the weapon of the Caracara, but to the fact that the Z Axis in this game no longer means that hiding on top of something will guarantee that you block out non-ethereal projectiles. If you hide behind the sun however, it will block it out. It could also be an issue with desync, but I can assure you that there is no way the projectiles can alter between being ethereal and non-ethereal

There were also instances I remember where we were behind a sun and the bullets went through and still hit us. _________________ |

That bullet went above the sun because Jeff was futher away from it and the target was higher than sun on Z axis. He purposely moved closer to the sun to show the difference, how could you miss that ?xD |

The point of the video was to show its possible to be behind a sun and get hit by something, as Vert said a sun will definitely block out a projectile.
