sadly this never got responded to by staff so as such I cant be bothered to put time into colonies any more. I am playing cities skylines from now on to get my fix of micromanagement. hope SS recovers eventually.

Hello, I apologize for not updating the community about this earlier. I did bring this up with Jey when it was originally reported. I don't have an update on it but he has confirmed that there is indeed a bug and is working hard to isolate it.

We're still working on the problem! If anyone has found a way to reproduce this effect on demand can they either come on IRC or send a ticket please. Will help resolve the problem quicker.

This isn't being triggered by players, that I can tell.
The effect happens when I am offline and it is only by spamming undock/redock that it actually gets resolved and displays the correct suitability. It will sometimes auto-correct itself, but my colonies have been ticking at a minus growth when I am offline and online.

Good news here, I believe I've found the issue! We should be having a micropatch here sometime over the next 24 hours to address the problem and few others that have come up.

Knowing that it started happening after this patch, and didn't happen before, was a huge help to tracking down the cause. I was able to look through the changes that went into the patch and track down the source.

To simplify things a bit, a mistake in an optimization accidentally caused colony suitabilities to be spread to other colonies (any colony, anywhere) in certain scenarios.
