By repeatedly docking in the the same base like 50 times, I was able to get several different values to show up in the Colony tab.

What this suggests to me is that when the server is asked, "What is the suitability for this colony?", it doesn't always answer correctly. Both to the UI and to whatever process in colonies that "ticks" and causes growth+buy/sell

For reference: the colony listed in the picture is Normal Terran Noxious (75% base) with no terraforming and CA30. No combination of missing CA or terraforming bonus would result in numbers like 31 and 37.

Really good analysis, Kyp. I wasn't aware that the random numbers it shows aren't even realizable by any possible means. That's also really concerning in its own way…
