Some items (subspace commod condenser and guessing some more) is spamming the event chat when equipped and have no money (while it doesn't need any) or no items to use. Looks like 10 spams per second (1 per server tick). While when you have the commods it only uses it once every few sec. It is also server heavy since they keep looking for items on your ship on the server side (possible crash related). |
