Here's a volcom i've been working on tonight. Definitely a work in progress

Looks nice enough. The volcoms in game actually look pretty nice so don't see them getting replaced, but maybe it could see service elsewhere.

My concern with the volcom like a lot of ships is it looks like it was turbo-smoothed for the sake of being smooth... Also it's as flat as a piece of paper. If that's the visual style that's desired, that's fine, but i don't find the extremely smooth and flat models appealing in the least.

This actually looks like the correct thickness to me, but other ships are incredibly flat for no reason.

If this model can find a place somewhere, i'll texture it.

I'm on Team Current-Volcom.
EDIT: It's the lighter ships like this that are fine being thin, the problem is just on ships of larger hull classes looking too thin. _________________ P2P (Offline): Copernicus/Tycho/Kepler/Starlight Squadron/Starlight Droners Inc. The ship looks good, though it lacks detail, and I don't get where the engine will be.

A lot of details come from the texture, but like I said, it's a work in progress. There doesn't seem to be a place for it, so it will stay how it is unless it can find a home :p
