I'm not going to speak for the others who said it needed more detail, but what I had in mind was not more fins, but rather detail on the surface. Ripples, bulges, scales, anything rather than just a big smooth rounded hull. Not that big smooth rounded hulls can't look great when environment mapped so they are shiny, but they look even better when there are also details next to them to provide a contrast. Kind of how the Zebucart is shiny ans smooth in most places, but then it has the detailed engine part in the back that gives it the detail to look like a nice ship instead of a cartoon.

I'd imagine an advanced scouting ship WOULD look streamlined, if only just for aesthetics.
