Post Weird Capship Fighter Thingy...
Was screwing around in 3DS Max. This is what came out of it. No textures, as we all know I SUCK at texturing. I did however make a FMap (Framework Map, or in other, more widely-accepted terms, a UVW map) in case anyone wants to try texturing it. It's clocked at 1.7k polys.

EDIT/UPDATE: New model. 772 polygons. UVW Unwrapped correctly. Sexy. Penis removed.

So when you say you "made" a UVW map, you mean you unwrapped the entire model into separate UV pieces. Have fun trying to texture it poly by poly.

That's how I UVW unwrap. And the way I make TMaps looks pretty damn good. Of course, when I do it like this, it's simple. Just copy from a texture across every poly, and then I'm done.

Except you can tell when the texture doesn't line up because it's a random piece for every poly..........

Then you UVW unwrap it :P.

I never claimed to be good at texturing OR UVW...ing.

It would be better to learn how to do it properly, where you can actually make a usable texture for it. There are plenty of tutorials online that cover everything you'll ever need to know about UV mapping or texturing or modeling.

Remove penis, rename it Zebuceptor, market it as one of the best T21 LF's.

Would make sense that the first ship you fly also is one of the most powerful of its hull class. :P

There's only like 3 T21 LF's ... this shouldn't even be LF.

Bottom one looks good, but the top one is just horrible imo.

The bottom image is the same model, angled so the penis looks like a bump when viewed from the bottom of the ship.

The ship looks like a New Zebucart(Old Zebu = orginal, Neo-Zebu = current, New = c1)

With fins and a much larger engine.


The Zebu is a light fighter, and the noobiest ship a person flies voluntarily. It'd be ironic humor if one of the weakest ships in game was also one of the strongest in a later form.

Not talking about an entry T21 like the Titan, I'm talking about a ship that could easily compete with an AWC(pvp and pve) for the basis of SD class.

The two 'vents' on the back end of the lower image look NOTHING like the 'vents' on the top two diagrams. I just think the back end as shown on the first image looks ridiculous.

And just give it more hull, less speed, elec temp mod make it a viable PvAi T21 LF. I'd also prefer that the AWC gets a slight speed beef.

1.7k Polys is really, really high. I like the style, but assuming it's a medium-sized HF/LF and not a giant capship, you need to get at least down to half the polys. A texture would be great
