I don't mind doing custom models either, if there's a need for it. Like if a lot of AI use the same model for a certain zone or something.

haha this is pretty awesome but i meant the Argeiphontes Hermes. the c2 verison currently does not feel as dementedly evil as the c1 verison to me .

Can you post a screenshot of how it looks in game currently? Or give me the link to its image on the wiki or something?

This honestly doesn't look too bad to me. Maybe just needs a little "flair" to it, but it's a pretty solid looking texture imo.

If you had a specific idea in mind for a texture direction, I'd be more than happy to hear you out about what you feel is wrong with the current one.

My personal opinion on the Hermes ship is that the little Hermes symbols are very small. You can just barely see them in the Medium/High graphics setting picture you see there, but in Low quality/any-quality-combat, they will be blurred out.

That and you can't see textures period when you activate your cloak. It's more of a game mechanic problem: Seers tend to fly around with their stupid looking cloaks in the on position.

So, is the Zeus Throne one ready to be put in game? I've never tried modding the client before.

It uses a custom ship model(the .obj) that you'll have to copy into the ship models folder which is:
Star Sonata 2\Content\Default\Models\Ships

Then you need to copy the texture into the ship texture folder:
Star Sonata 2\Content\Default\Textures\Ships

Once you do that, you'll have to update the ships.xml:
Star Sonata 2\Content\Default\game_data\ships.xml

Point the Zeus Throne to that specific model and texture. It doesn't matter what you name them, as long as you edit the ships.xml accordingly. I'm not sure how it looks in-game, or if the client will even use 1kX1k textures. I'm sure someone else knows the answer to that, though.
