Post Tortoise etc.
I don't really play, so I'm unsure of how many tortoise type ships there are. I looked at the tortoise model itself and its texture and IMO, it is pretty awful. What are the names of all the tortoise ships that use the same model?

Turtle, Oversized Tortoise and Testudo are coming to mind.

Thank you kindly.

Instead of fixing it, I was planning to just remodel/re-texture them completely, and give the Testudo its own model and texture.

I intended to do a remodel with a new design etc. not really based off the old design.

As for your model, it's just really rigid. It's personal preference, but when there isn't really a reason for a model to be rigid and it is, it just looks sloppy to me. You work fast though, maybe just focus on the details a little more and question whether something looks right to you. You already have modeling for function down really well, but I think it's time to start modeling for appeal and "what looks good" or "what is pleasing to the eye" instead of just modeling for functionality.

I'm more than capable of modeling, which is why I started this thread in the first place. I do not actively play and was unsure as to how many variants were needed. Thank you for your interest, but I am really just looking to work on this one solo.

Turtle/+, Tortoise/+, OS Tortoise, Testudo/+(?)
Might be some obscure special AI with a similar ship, but you know...

Balance sheets, yo.
Also note that the model used for the C2 ships are not the same as the graphic used by the C1 versions. Similar, but there is a distinct difference. C2's version look more rounded and less "forward mobility", but C1 look flattened. Both are pretty stupid imo.
