The smaller escorts huddling around it are actually battleships. I would have also included some Reaper-class battlecruisers in the picture, but they were fighting the noob over on the other side of the map. He was trying to build a Goliath experimental before he found a bunch of Reapers shelling his base. Any ways, the gist is that the current Earthforce Capital ships look like like the green pipes from Mario World, which are nothing like Earthforce ships previously used (Cadet, Enforcer, Warden, etc). And the idea is to make a series of models that can be used for both the Earthforce patrol ships and their capital fleet, without being as different as the Subspace guys. |
