Re: Weekly Update 7-8
for some reason i kinda thought the interface would change. more windowized/customizable or something. i'd really like to see something different with the item select screen above the map. right now the icon for the item/planet/ship selected is almost as big as the text. i'd like to see a smaller icon and more text. maybe something like 24x24 pixels at most, with the item name next to it, then under it all the info about the selected thing.
other than that i'm glad its comming along.

Quote: Anyways, Jeff when you talk about revamp, is it a huge nerf of a small one It would be wrong to call it a nerf since any changes to augs and aug tweaking will also affect AIs. For certain things it might be quite a big change though which is why Jeff mentions it already. This change will be done to help us find a more permanent balance to the game so we can avoid future nerfs. Im sure there will be more information about it later, we havent started working on it yet.

Re: Weekly Update 7-8
Looking at the screenshots, I thought at first that the windows were transparent. I now realize that they aren't, though that would be awesome. Where's the full-screen map button?

Re: Weekly Update 7-8
you'll notice that on the other 2 piccys, the background is incredibly high res. So i'm going to go ahead and assume that its an isolated thingy.

Did anyone else notice the comma in 1,000 credits? It can't all be bad, then.

Re: Weekly Update 7-8
Can we see some more screen shots, maybe this time with some planets and AI bases and ships?

Just drawing on something Voomy once said, but will admins have the power to edit/delete characters in client 2? Or even, perhaps, players?

Re: Weekly Update 7-8
That one looks really fake. I actually don't like that one tbh. It looks like a green box with a piece of paper on top. Whats up with the blank green spots?

Re: Weekly Update 7-8
I like the new Amoetroidizodal, and not a bad model for the EF, though the textures and shading could be better.

Re: Weekly Update 7-8
I thought the EF series was originally done in semi-3d? I think of all the current ships in game, these should probably change the least from the current form. The EF ship looks way too much like a saturday cartoon :\ Otherwise, definatly looks like progress is being made
