What you did was made if so that you couldnt set the Buy price for lower than the sell price , or the sell price higher than the buy price, however you look at it.
This messes over the whole idea of a "Resource base" which is what i use; thankfully, I had mine set before you changed this. I just now noticed it as i was trying to set some more bases. Let me give you an example Base A-Colony1 Base B-Production Base C-New colony A sells to B for buy price so that slaves never lose money, B then sells to C for 1, so that the slaves never lose money, and only B runs out of money, Therefore you see max profit on base C. And you never have to fill up a thing but base B with money but B.. If i drop the buy price on base B the buy price goes with it currently, and is always equal or higher, Therefore causing me not to be able to do that, and more problems that i want to work with. So i say give it a pop up box warning, that tells and warns you for what your are doing, because im sure that im not the only one that uses this. Attachment: signed.jpg though this should have gone to suggestions and not misc. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. _________________ |

Hmm. I think a pop up box telling what you were doing would be useful for you yourself, but then there could still be saboteurs that can make the base buy higher than the base selling price. If this went along with improved logs that held data better, I'd be all for it. (client2?)

(client2?) if it warns you that the price is skewed, then the only other possibility is that the preson IS a saboteur. since a popup saying "your buy price is higher then your sell price are you sure you want to continue?" would spell it out for even the simplest of people. at that point you annihilate the offender's bases and hunt him until any debts are repaid or admins interfere as they can do from time to time. theifs do not sit well with anyone but this could be a good way to catch them in the act. getting the logs made better would be nice too, even a way to save a day's worth of logs on your computer every time you log in and wipe the current saved logs off the server. if it could be organized so we don't need to see the TONS of ai activity and only player activity. we could tell a lot more, who bought what, sold what. took what. ect. it would even let us analyze market trends on colonys to an extent. _________________ |
