On C1, on my zerk, with 3 pulse3's it takes about 2 minutes to deplete my energy. In C2, it is visually seen that i got a lot higher ROF, my energy runs out in about 30 seconds. I think i know what's causing it. It seems to me that the wep recharge bonus(meant for not getting slower ROF when MFing), works alongside with the MF itself and isn't necessary. I get at least tripled ROF in C2, but not in C1 with the exact same stuff.

RoF is limited by the FPS that the server is currently running. It could be that the C2 server is just running that much more efficiently.

Nah, i've gotten the same thing on my gunner on C2. His bank drains at a crazy rate over there, when he can fire for five or more minutes on C1.

I find that my energy actually does not charge all the time.
It allows for one shot, then pauses AFTER the weapon has recharged, then charges up until my next shot. On a side note, my shield seems to act the same way, except with damage instead of elect usage. _________________ Salt Assault drew this conclusion from the latest devblog. the rof thing was a bug i fixed a week or so ago.
As for the energy that look like there is a delay, its only graphical. Ill increase the message priority so that it wait less before sending the update. Server side your energy/shield start charging the frame after they lost some bank (usually 50ms later), then send a message to the client. Which right now, will wait about 200ms before sending it to combine it more efficiently with more packets (hence reducing network stress and lag especially on slower routers). Which mean that in theory, the client only know about the change 250-300ms after it happened. Ill check if i can somehow hide that delay better on the client by interpolating it, although you dont need to worry about it, it wont ever prevent your wep from firing or whatever, its only a display delay. _________________ One of the first and proud flight controller.
