So I talked to Jey in All chat about weapons eventually loosing their particle effects, and he was still adamant about it being Lagkiller.
I adjusted my Lagkiller to low at 0 and upper at 1, and still loose particle effects over time. Done it a few times now, and it still does this. _________ Some new screen shots for you guys, this depicts a squad in Olympus, all have lost particle effects, and apparently when you shoot your weapon, some of the background saves the particles sticking the weapon particles on the background like glue. Attachment: random2.JPG Attachment: Lolddd.JPG Attachment: random.JPG The green dots are Mad Thorax particle effects that have literally stuck to the background. They are static and don't wear off over time, and in fact when you jump through the next gate they are in the same place as they where when they first got stuck. I saw a little bit of this yesterday before this patch when everything was crashing, but it was NOT as bad as this for sure. Hope this helps. - Paxx You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. _________________ Death to Pirates! http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/2103/mutes.jpg |

More screen shots for your amusement about this bug.
I was using Mad Thorax's moving in a circle for a good 3 minutes, and made some nice art in kirtley. Lol Attachment: poiuyt.JPG Attachment: lkjh.JPG After kill. Attachment: mnbv.JPG In the subspace juxtapose next to that galaxy. You can clearly see that it transposes in any galaxy, and even saw it when i got back to sol. Personally I don't really mind it. Yeah its a bug and it should be fixed, but its not a major priority. If it makes you happy just imagine its a distant universe that you can see from our universe.

Jey said there was a small memory leak for weapon particles.
Said the patch might be today to fix the issue. _________________ SerjicalStrike wrote: Peter Pan had a child army and you didn't complain about him. But when a black man does it... |
