That is what you risk when you let your entire team space go unowned. The rules are like that for everyone and it was present during the war with pantalones, so don't act all surprised.

So I kinda have to expect that once I'm back to dormitory I will find all my gear taken by SBP?

If you are at a war with us and let your entire team space go unowned, then all your base are belong to us.

It's a ridiculous game mechanic and 70% of the game will want it removed if it were to happen to them. (Yes I have no research or figures to back that up, but it's a rough estimate at the amount of sane people left in the game). The tactic is extremely risky and hard to use, unless like this this case - we find an entire team space unowned.

We would either have to let our team space go unowned for 24 hours to BvB from a neighbor galaxy, or we would have to PvB two or more systems to get the same outcome. Which of both would be either too hard or taking too long time.

What happens to ownership of those bases then? |

What happens to ownership of those bases then? Then our team space would be unowned and open to be BvBed, and we would have to wait 24 hours to get the border slots, in which time I think you guys would have been able to do what pantalones did. |

I don't see what the point of capping bases is anymore if you can simply get them all for free with this mechanic.

Indeed, this is obviously a massive bug that has had horrible effects on the game for certain individuals. 100% loss is ridiculous. Please fix this.

so to elaborate on the pvb scenario, lets say you pvb the end gal of a chain of owned gals and pvb dead every base in that gal. The gal goes unowned.
Are you saying nobody can lay a outpost in that gal and own it? while the team you pvb'd has an owned gal next door? Am I right in thinking this also means nobody can own the empty gal next door to any chain of owned gals then? I'm just not believing this: "you can't pbv all bases dead a gal, and lay an outpost and own it while the enemy has owned gals next door" this would essentially mean a curtain round your teams owned space exists 1 gal deep that cannot be owned by another team, or are there other conditions to this? we could test this by just dropping an outpost next to any owned space. could do with some proper guidance on this from admins. |
