Please remove account base slot restrictions.
Why? The 'Sonatan-dream' is to own a decently-sized solar system (otherwise known as galaxies in this game) and have the ability to defend and utilize that property, all with one account. Right now, that Sonatan-dream can only be achieved with multiple accounts - in my case, more like 3-5 for a really solid galaxy. If Star Sonata wants to offer a competitive experience to the player base, account slot restrictions need to be removed. Why was the restriction implemented in the first place? Well, having played in the past, this was rather useful when the buildable universe was a fraction of the current space with arguably just a few less account slots available. However, since we have moved onto higher building standards (more base slots) and more space available to colonize, the universe for the first time showed signs of a net deficit of civilization (last universe before C2). A quick look at your wild-space map and you will see just how small this 'civilized space' is these days. So long as the server can handle it, I can think of little reason why account slots should exist . The specifics: 1) Remove the account base-slots divisor for subsequent character base slots - Allow players to have ExE, CA, StM all on one account and utilize the trade skills fully - New theoretical max usable ExE/CA/StM base slots per account is roughly 2.2x higher than it is currently for a 5-character account (assuming no MfMs) 2) Remove the galaxy limitation of 10 kits per character _________________ The fundamental difference between a trader and an investor - an investment, from a trader's perspective, is a trade gone bad. |

I honestly can't see a reason why there'd be an account limit either. All it does is promote putting down low level trash bases in order to get the most you can out of slots.

Why are these arbitrary limits even ingame >.<
This is part of the reason people own multiple accounts. An account with maxed SM20 and SR5 on every alt gets like, 124 slots (might be a bit off). Or I could own 2 accounts, and get 80-90 slots with 2-3 characters. So much cheaper then maxing accounts. _________________ Lemon/Meo |

Yep the account base limit made more sense with a smaller galaxy. As noted the limit also pushes players to pay for multiple accounts. Leveling station management skils on your maybe 3rd but certainly 4th and 5th chars feels very unrewarding

You will all become greedy with owning multiple systems by yourselves. The limitation was most likely put there to stop individual players from owning too many systems. Think about it. _________________ |

This will not happen, only thing we can hope for is more slots. I made a topic about this and nothing still happened after 2 years later.
The benefits are of this current system are: - more subs - less server stress - restricts op peps that don't have a lot of real money. Ideas i like about this is topic so far is: Rounder wrote: 2) Remove the galaxy limitation of 10 kits per character Another idea would be to allow single accounts to pay extra for more slots, to give the same benefit of having 2 accounts. *was told this was pay to win, which it is* This is a really touchy subject as its one of the main reasons why most people sub multiple accounts. _________________ Fibre broadband in my brainzz! |

The only thing that is kind of pay-to-win'ish is the item forming & aug resetting portion of SS, although the game is still playable without ever using that amenity. As a side note, pay to win games seem like a pretty shitty business model in the West. _________________ The fundamental difference between a trader and an investor - an investment, from a trader's perspective, is a trade gone bad. Isn't Candy Crush a wildly successful pay-to-win game?

anilv wrote: Isn't Candy Crush a wildly successful pay-to-win game? Right, should clarify that as an MMO pay-to-win. Not really familiar with Candy Crush at any rate, haven't played it. _________________ The fundamental difference between a trader and an investor - an investment, from a trader's perspective, is a trade gone bad. |

Pay to Win is vilified in the West, but people still fall into it and its immensely profitable. You can't just make it obviously Pay-To-Win.

I think this would be too OP. Single acc with 250 (or more) base slots.
