Post Uber Scanner 3.5.5
NEW updated uber scanner*! (Latest Version - 3.5.5)

Attachment:
Capture.PNG

READ FIRST!

Code:
INSTRUCTIONS
1: Extract the contents of the .rar file to a location of your choosing
2: Run uberscanner.exe
3: Recording Scans:
A: If this is the first time using the scanner, click "Check ports". Wait until it finishes (progress on the command window)
A1: If you recently installed programs that may effect adapter ports, click "Remove saved adapter #".  May also be necessary after computer updates.
B:** Click "Begin log".  Enter a galaxy, scan any planets/moons, then move on.
C: Once you have finished scanning, click "End Log".
D: Click "Parse Scan Log".
E: ***Select the commodities or ruins you wish to highlight, and click "Rename Files"

4: HTML files will appear in "...\UberScanner\Pages".  Text scans will appear in "...\UberScanner\Scans"

**Advisable to check that you get output: scan a few items, check if "ss_dump.log" is larger than ~5kb or so.
***Renaming before generating HTML files will give HTML file names with valuable items in the name.  Generate HTML before renaming if you don't want this.

Button Functions:
"Check Ports"  - checks internet adapter ports for the one used
"Remove saved adapter #" - wipes saved adapter number, allowing "Check Ports" to function fully.
"Begin Log" - begins logging information sent from the server (specified in the 'server' field) to your client
"End Log" - ends the logging of information
"Parse Scan Log" - separates the raw packout information from the server into usable, readable, information in "...\UberScanner\scans"
"Generate HTML files" - generates HTML files for each galaxy scanned, these files are the main end product of the scanner
"Generate CSV files" - generates a csv file of scans (currently not working)
"Rename Files" - Renames the files in "...\UberScanner\scans" depending on the selected options above the button

KNOWN ISSUES:
CSV generation does not work currently - Should be fixed in 3.5.5

In addition, this was written on Windows 8 & 10, so I'm not sure on functionality with Mac OS, Linux, etc.

DOWNLOAD v3.5.5

Uber Scanner 3.5.5 has been uploaded.

NEW Features!:
Code:
-Allows renaming to include which type of scanner used, in order to differentiate between ENIAC and lower power scanners!

Fixes:
Code:
-CSV creation should now be working properly
-Order of buttons clicked shouldn't matter (might in an earlier version)

Just getting a error saying "The program can't start... wpcap.ddl is missing from your computer...". I added an exception to the program in my antivirus and unpacked the .rar file again. Still had the same issue.

Limpa your ss website with all the tools used to be awesome. I don't understand why you removed a lot of the cool features.

Post Re: Uber Scanner 3.5.5
changed webserver host, didnt move all the stuff and god knows what else...
BP data was anyway from autumn 2013 or even older

some of the salvaged bits
long ugly bp page
manhours
condensing

ofc i have no idea, if the formulas are correct... its been many moons, things might've changed

also, you can harass BobboBot on irc for the calculations :)

and in case someone was wondering...
the way i collected bp data was similar to collecting planet/moon scan data
so perhaps someone will want to add features to their program :D

It doesn't seem to produce anything and when I press Begin Log it says "Invalid adapter index". Remove saved adapter # and Check Ports don't seem to have any effect.

Also, how does this program react to having multiple clients open?
