Make it so that typing /roll squad will roll on the number of players in the squad and displays the name of the character that corresponds to that number in the squad.

Because rolling 5 and looking at squad menu is hard AMIRITE.

But seriously, we have already 500 too many / commands. I'd rather have this as a UI button. I'm betting 99% of incoming new players don't even know what /roll does.

Would imagine most new players know what /roll does as an effect, since most if not all other MMOs have that function too for obvious reasons. But, unlike in other games, SS admins love to hide all the information, functions, and mechanics from the player. There are how many slash commands? Where is LagKillerInstructions clearly visible? Etc etc.

The reasoning is Jey hates coding UI changes or buttons. But he can easily add / commands. So look how many we've gotten as shit fixes over the years.

Why build a battleship when you can have a stone on the end of a stick? You can hit an enemy soldier on the head instead of shelling them from 36km away with 18.1in guns.
