Post Delquadrikamdon Rework
While getting settled into my duties, I've been working on a snazzy new redesign for the Delquadrikamdon. Pixel had the graciousness to whip up a new texture, and give me a glow map for the Delquadrikamdon. It's a ship with 2 modes, the regular Delquadrikamdon and the Delquadrikamdan! I also touched the blueprint for the ship, and kept the theme of not using hard to build modules. Let me know what you think!

By the way, the ship is normally red. I decided to show off the Chilled Metal skin for the Delquad. :P

The purpose of reworking the Delquadrikamdon was to better fill a hole that exists for Snipers in the tech 21 range. You activate the superitem "Red Pill" and after a short delay you shed your restraints and become a Delquadrikamdan! You can stay in Delquadrikamdan form as long as you like, but once you leave you need to wait before you can transform again.

This will make it into next patch.

I actually think its far too cheap, lol. It's not very hard to get a small amount of tier commods via prospecting

It's an entry level ship. I'd like it to cost less than 30b to make.

I doubt it would even get to 20b if you MCd all you needed with its current costs

Keep in mind that it needs 5x Laconia and Quantumum, and 100x Titanium and Vis. And there's also the opportunity cost that comes with using Tier 3 Industrial Commodities for a build instead of selling them. MC it and look at how much it costs, I already spent half an hour doing that before I settled on amounts. It can cost you around 40bil to make it if you buy everything.

I didn't want to put it on the same level as the Pax ships. I have plans for the Pax ships and the Hybridized ships.

Prototype of the parasites you generate at will, and can use whenever you'd like. Comes with significant penalties. The item that generates them will probably be set to like a 3 minute cooldown, and you can only have one at a time. Probably very OP atm, and can guarantee they will be nerfed a bit before they get implemented.


This is old, but I'm leaving it to show what it used to be.

Great question! I don't want to make big changes until after we touch classes at that stage of the game. Once that's done and feedback comes in, I'll start making the slight tweaks to the early and mid game i was talking about. If I were to, say, buff early game power of players before class skill changes come in then players may be too powerful and I've spent time on something that ended up creating more problems. See what I'm saying? I can make little spot changes without worrying about that.
