So we get an awesome cool feature added to SS because of an issue? That sounds epic ;D doing this will we have to re-scan our planets since i have like 3 planets in my gal with nukes, would the other planets gain nuclear waste if it didn't have it initially?

Yes if they match the conditions for nuke in the first place (it use the same condition as the rest of the uni generation).

Now do this with all resources including T2, T3, and T4, making territorial fighting worth something! Imagine if Ada was clustered in one portion of the universe, we might get proper skirmishing!

Actually you would just get one team in control of all of a specific resource, and they would just hold other teams' advancement back...

and wed also have to drastically increase the consumptions of those resources :P. Were doing it on t0 because the multiple new planets actually reduced the total amount slightly. But "rarer" resources were not affected since they spawn on a much smaller subset of planets in the first place.

The total amount of resources in the universe did not change except for t0 (and even then it did not change all that much) only difference is that this t0 was now spread over a LOT more planets, to a point where it wasnt worth extracting it on most cases. t1+ commodities do not share that problem.

I'm not referring to the amount of resources, Jey. I'm talking about how they're distributed. It seems to me that clustering certain resources in certain parts of the universe would boost either team cooperation or competition. Both are a good thing.

I've been told there isn't many fermium planets/moons. I found 1 moon deep in wild space DF but wondering if fermium is counted as tier0 commods or like tier 2?

I think you're very wrong about T1 and T2 not being affected.

We have substantially less resources with hardly any tin silver ect and not a single ferminum moon over the entire team space (10 gals).

Did all the resources go into the 3 or 4 high df gal ?
