Post Remove FWings from Twisted Builds
They're tech 9 and they cost more than Singularity Spheres. I would've understood Unt FWings or something else, but now newer players who want to make use of FWing or Death Strikers cannot use them because what used to be a bit more expensive higher tier, is now an over glorified build ingredient. So yeah, offload that shit to an extracted commod or some dropped item. Walling off content for the sake of newer content is pretty dumb, find a way to make FWings a viable option for new players again, and Death Strikers viable for t20 people. Whether that is removing the FWing from build requirements on t22 shit, or making them absurdly easy to obtain, the method doesn't matter, but it needs to happen.

It would be lovely if lower tech ruins appeared in LOWER DF GALAXIES, rather than completely random.

This looks absolutely fine by design. There is a alternative if you want to get the Death Obliterator by upgrading a Death Striker but you end up using the same amount of resources.

If your team fight for the ruin it will be much cheaper than what I'm seeing on the market checker currently or do a deal with the seller for a cheaper price.

That's not the point. I don't care how much a build item costs for a t22 build, it should be expensive. What should not be expensive is a t9 ship that new players and f2p should have access to, but don't because the price is massively inflated by an ill thought out design choice.

Whatever item in the twisted builds can cost all the money in the game. However, a t9 ship and a t20 ship which are both entry level by modern standards, should not be completely stonewalled from any regular entry player because someone shoved an Fwing into t22 build requirements.

Again, I have no problem with twisted build commods being expensive. But they shouldn't be preventing lower level players from being able to obtain things that are completely independent of Twisted Content.

I always seriously disliked how DS requires fwing to build. Before UZ when DS was considered the best ship, it pushed fwing into really expensive. Also, best ships requiring luck with ruin "rolls" is awful mechanic.

By that logic, Mzungu Thunders shouldn't be rare or expensive. It's a T17 energy, perfect for lower level FCs and f2ps. But its cost is massively inflated because it's used to get Mzungu Lore for KMWs.

I'm cool with paying 20B or whatever for materials to build twisted ships.But, It does kinda fuck over the noobs when they have to pay that 20B for their low tech ships.

This. That same logic applies to a great deal of other items and no one has ever complained about those before.

Yea ive always thought this was a bit silly. It basically makes the fwing a fancy commod rather then a fancy ship for players at that tech level. Im in favor of switching the requirements into something else equally as rare but perhaps not something commonly used by lower tech players.

Yes, people have complained about those other things. The difference is that Mzungu Lore has required Mzungu Thunders for years and so over time the complaints dwindled since there isn't a massive demand for them in the short term. But there is a massive short term demand for Twisted Light Fighters, and there's no other way to get Faranji Wingships other than RNG from colonies.

Teammate wanted a KMW set for his Berserker. And because no one was selling *any* Mzungu Thunders, he stuck a "Buying 1 Mzungu Thunder, 10b" level post into trade chat. The whole Mzungu Lore line has that level price tag and every piece that was required was extracted in large bundles in the same way you'd think would happen if a KMW ruin showed up.

This argument is no longer valid as KMW only requires 1 in mzungu lore now. You no longer need to use a bunch of mzungu items to train mzungu lore. Whether this is intended or not, I am not sure, but as it stands now that is the way it is.
