Not really. I was poking around in the EF layer earlier and checking out the trading missions there. They're as mediocre as ever. The biggest reward I saw at one of them was around 500 million credits, which when you count in the cost of actually buying the items required means you're making pennies for spending 20-30 minutes moving the stuff out there in a big, slow weak ship (which is probably all a newer person would have, who else would bother to do any of these missions after all?) that can get stasis-ed by half the enemies in W3.

The more expensive the item, the more money you earn. I believe it's a 10% return on investment.

How about if the dev team gets a bit more creative and make Trading missions also ask for DG ?

How would that work, exactly?

2.5% for Titan+ gear
5% for expensive non-Titan+ gear
10% for medium price gear
50% for the cheapest lowest tech gear

I feel like making use of DG gear for this purpose would be encroaching on the Junkyard system.

Trading missions give you 10% (iirc) cut of the money, and they're just placed in a DF range we set... So they kinda do give more for the DF (because the higher gears are further out).

We have no way to set higher DF missions to give more credits, rather just make higher rewarding missions be in higher DF.

Agreed on it encroaching on junkyard missions.

That is not to say that the junkyard scrapnotes are fine as they are. I'm sure we could find some items to add to the junkyard turn ins and rewards that would add value to lower level players.
